Our Womens Circle was started in 1963 as an evening meeting but has now moved to an afternoon slot on Thursday at 2.00pm, once a fortnight. We start with a short devotion hymn, reading and prayer and then give out our notices of things to come, We try to have a speaker at least once a month and also hold discussions and quizzes. We finish with tea and biscuits. Our meetings are well attended and our members often provide help for Church activities involving food and drink.
We are part of the Leicester West Circuit Network activity, which raises money and highlights issues about different charitable projects happening in the UK and elsewhere. We try to take part in some of these Network meetings.
